Not long ago, Baymeadows Movers was able to partner with Chipman Relocation & Logistics on a distinctive commercial moving project through our membership in the Office Moving Alliance (OMA). As a team, we assisted with the removal of outdated projection equipment from several AMC Theatre locations. It was not your typical commercial move. It required careful planning, specialized equipment, experienced crews, and seamless coordination between dependable relocation partners.

One week we're moving an entire school before students return for the new year. The next we're moving physical therapy equipment to a new healthcare facility. Then we are inside a movie theater, meticulously disassembling and removing equipment that has entertained millions of people over the years.
This AMC project was notably memorable because it entailed removing large digital cinema projection systems, along with several pieces of historic 35mm projection equipment. Walking into the projection booths felt like going back in time. Some of the film projectors and reels had been part of the movie-going experience long before digital projection was established as the industry norm.
